Hi Fajna Hanna, you make beautiful work. May I hang out with you and kittens and creepy Adam’s Family children all day? We can play in the grass and suck all of the color out of this world to be exactly like your art. I would appreciate it. I think it would cure my never ending fix and temptation to be surrounded by your art all day long.

Pop Pulp and Apartment shows

I first saw this little lady Collin‘s collages at an apartment gallery show where she was curated with another one of my favorite-friend-artists. Chicago has the best apartment shows and I hope to bring them to the Seattle area!

Garment

I was lucky to have a show with Laura Collins in  Chicago as a Benefit for a Chicago Aids Association and Gay straight housing. She is creative and cool in her approach to art, these are just a few of her prints I admire.

Night and Day

Collins affordable work is witty, smart and completely addictive.

Sexy Time with Adeline

lingerie was never so sexy. I am one hundred and ten percent addicted to Adeline Meilliez‘s prints of beautiful tool undies and wonderfully fun bras. Her prints aren’t only beautiful, but also affordable and someday I am going to have her in my collection.

They look like lingerie that has been thrown off of someone and smooshed into the sheets.

A whole new meaning to the infamous pick up line “your clothes would look better on my floor.”

I would go home with any man who came onto me with these prints. …Just sayin’

If I had a gallery, you would be in the window…

That’s all I have to say.

Sex and death

has it all. He is fun, funky and fresh. It’s been a while since I have given you a daily fix, but here it is. Janusz  is a Warsaw artist who gears his art about sex and death. Some of his work is dark and fucked up; others are pretty and poppy. But whatever the mixed medium or the commentary behind each piece is, when you see his whole portfolio, it is moving.

Michelle Furlong, you creative SOB. I can’t take my eyes off of these! I’m shaking and trying to find my moleskine at the bottom of my cluttered bag. How did you think to…. How did you manage to…

Cast, graphite, acrylic ink on paper, 2013

The beauty behind a perfect mix of collage, paint, and drawing will pull me farther and farther into this beautiful, dark addiction that is; art.

Coil, Acrylic, ink on paper, 2013

Sometimes the most simple ideas are from just letting go of the rules. Furlong looks like she is an art rebel, and it seems she has been having a blast with color. I want to play!

If you have not gone onto Saatchionline.com yet, you are not the good little art addict I hoped you were. Saatchi (as beautiful as its establishment is) has opened an even better online company for younger, less accomplished artists to wave their freak flags.

Every single artists on Saatchi online has an oddity and excitement to their work. You will find yourself putting stars on every single artists profile and breezing through with excitement like you just discovered pinterest for the first time.

But, I have found the dreamiest, swooshiest of all of the daring international painters on Saatchi. He is right in our back yard in Tennessee and I wish he had pictures of his studio up. He is minimalist while still being sloppy. His name is John Stone.

Pepa Prieto  is BRILLIANT to say the very leaste. Why did I choose to get you addicted to her work? I didn’t have a choice, I have been so hooked I couldn’t stop jumping onto her Website .

I have the Prieto itch and it is not going away.

Ugh, those colors, stop it. I need more!

Fever

Theresa Pfarr is hurting my heart.

K. Moss Leviathan

My heart beats on beautiful colors and feminine silhouhettes, and these lovelies makes that pitter patter jump ahead. It may be my addiction to great art, or the sheer beauty of these ladies coming out of Theresa Pfarr ‘s paintbrush, but I am smitten.

Completely taken and coming back for more.

The very first time.

The very first time you ever do something you feel like you shouldn’t, its remembered. It isn’t only remembered by you, but often by the person who catches you. Looking at this blog while you sneak a peek away from your work is one of those firsts. If this is you, right now, having your first breeze of the daily dose of art, I hope I made it worth your while with the lovely work of Faye Moorhouse.

These wonderful illustrations encompass every aspect of what I want to throw your way every single day. I want you to see painterly, constructively sloppy, exciting paintings, illustrations, sculptures, thoughts.
